What a great website, only found this for the first time.
I have worked and lived in Barbados so understand I have been spoiled with some of the worlds best Rum.
Will be keeping my eye on this site.
There is a Live and Let Live Rum Festival in Cambridge this weekend, 25th April 2013 to the 27th, Mawson Road.
They have over 140 different Rums.

Nice l’il write-up, y’dirty rummie! Good read. I’ll chat with David and see what the chances are of him bringing in any obscure rums. Not sure what his pull is like for the cane juice.
That being said…on my last visit to WP (ahem…yesterday) it looks as though there are still a few for us to knock off. I’m sure the whole gang will take it as a personal mission to scout the fars and wides.
Lance, a list of types of rums will be a great addition. Prior to these gatherings I had little exposure to rum aside from the odd eggnog & 25 cent highballs (straight out of a plastic bag no doubt).
That stuff about Barbados in WWII is brilliant. Used to be that if you were travelling across Europe with the Barbados flag stitched to your backpack, you would be treated like royalty…but word got around and a bunch of American frat boys ruined it for everyone. Probably drunk on rum.
